The Asus Padfone has to be one of the more ambitious smartphone gadgets doing the rounds since Computex 2011. What’s more, analysts are murmuring that we’ll get our first glimpse of what the finished product looks like at Mobile World Congress 2011. Read on to find out more about the Asus Padfone.

Very little is known about the actual guts and glory of the Asus Padfone, other than we know the computer part will be a 10.1-inch tablet, while the smartphone will have a 4.3-inch display and they’ll have a complementary design.
However, according to reports that are doing the rounds, slap a reserved date on the 27th February, which also happens to be the first date of MWC 2012, as this looks like the date everything will become clear.
In keeping with current Asus tablets, we can expect to see Android Ice Cream Sandwich running on both devices. What’s more, it’s thought that nVidia Tegra3 quad-core processing will be on offer. That’s about it on the rumour front for now but it’s enough to have us thinking that MWC 2012 can’t come around soon enough.
