Three new HTC devices leaked – HTC Desire HD 2, HTC Desire 2 and HTC Wildfire 2

Ahead of HTC’s showcase event at MWC 2011 next week, details concerning three of its new devices have been leaked online. Read on to find out more about the HTC Desire HD 2, the HTC Desire 2 and the HTC Wildfire 2…
The leaks form part of the same Expansys Android phone splurge that has seen the Samsung Galaxy S 2′s specs being outed. The HTC information is slightly more noteworthy, however, as the Taiwanese company has thus far kept its cards far closer to its chest.
The HTC Desire HD 2 leads the way with a dual-core 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon QSD8260 processor, Adreno 205 GPU, 512MB RAM, 8-megapixel camera and a 4.3-inch screen. These specs, if correct, would make the Desire HD2 extremely similar (indeed its innards are almost identical) to the aforementioned Samsung Galaxy S2.
Meanwhile the HTC Desire HD 2′s smaller brother, the HTC Desire 2, will feature a decidedly last-gen 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon QSD8250 CPU and Adreno 200 GPU, pitching it as HTC’s latest mid-range Android device. A 3.7-inch Super LCD screen and 5-megapixel camera round out the package.
Finally, the HTC Wildfire 2 (see picture and linked article) would appear to represent the compact budget end of the Android market, with a 600MHz Qualcomm MSM7227 CPU, Adreno 200 GPU and 3.2-inch TFT screen. It too will have a 5-megapixel camera with LED flash.
We’ll won’t have long to wait to find out if these specs are accurate, with MWC 2011 set to start on Monday.
