The Samsung GT-i8700 has been spotted, a top candidate to take a place among the Windows Phone 7 launch devices.
HTC, Asus and HTC Windows Phone 7 handsets have already been spotted online, but now it’s Samsung’s turn. There’s a good chance that the Samsung GT-i8700 will be the first Samsung Windows Phone 7 handset to hit the shelves.
These photos sourced by Gizmodo tell us a few juicy details about this upcoming phone, including that it feature an LED flash and 8GB of internal storage. Like all Windows Phone 7 phones, it’ll also offer a large capacitive touchscreen, 1GHz+ processor and standard softkey layout. From the pics, it look as though this phone does not offer a slide-out physical keyboard.
According to the latest rumours, Windows Phone 7 is heading for a launch on 11 October, so we could see the Samsung GT-i8700 first-hand before the end of next month.
