Vodafone 845 budget Android phone now available
One of the cheapest Android phones yet, the Vodafone 845, is now available to buy, free on contracts of £15 a month and above.
The Vodafone 845 runs Android 2.1 and features a 2.8-inch resistive touchscreen. Its screen and 3.2-megapixel camera show that the Vodafone 845 is clearly a budget Android, but it will give you the full Android experience, for less.
For £15 a month, you get 100 minutes, 500 texts and 500MB data allowance a month. That’s a 24-month contract.
The Vodafone 845 features a light custom UI on top of Android 2.1, offering a dock of icons at the bottom of the screen that take you to core phone functions. There’s also a home screen “zoom out” button that works like HTC Sense’s Leap, letting you view all your home screens at once, quickly.
To get on the Android bandwagon for less, check out the Vodafone 845 at the Vodafone website.
