Remember Waterslide Extreme? It was a free 3D waterslide sim that rocketed to the top of the iTunes chart almost a year ago. Its sequel, Rollercoaster Extreme, has just hit the App Store!

Like Waterslide Extreme before it, Rollercoaster Extreme is an advertising game made by a Barclaycard-sponsored developer, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t fun. You have to tilt your iPhone to avoid obstacles and pick up collectibles as your rollercoaster tears through New York City.

Rollercoaster Extreme includes four tracks set in the city’s most famous areas — the Upper West Side, Central Park, Downtown and Chinatown. Don’t go expecting inch-by-inch recreations of the real places, but there’s more than enough eye candy to feast on here.

Rollercoatser Extreme is available to download for free from iTunes now. If you’ve yet to play its predecessor Waterslide Extreme, that’s also still available for free.
