Mobile fanatics gagging to get a Google Nexus One can head over to vodafone.co.uk/nexusone and pre-order now. Customers who do so will have one in their gadget-hungry palms on 30 April, with Vodafone stores and telesales selling the cell from 1 May. Initially, the Nexus One was meant to be sold directly by Google itself.
As well as selling it, Vodafone is providing direct support for Google Nexus One customers, so if you buy one, you can hit them up directly for any queries you have regarding the phone. That means you don’t need to go to Google if you have any niggles.
The Voafone Google Nexus One comes preloaded with Google Maps Navigation, so it’s a fully blown satnav as well as a killer smartie. It all means you get turn-by-turn navigation and search by voice functionality from the get go.
Price plans for the Google Nexus One start at £25 per month on a 24-month deal, with the chance to get the handset free if you stump up £35 a month over two years. There are also 18-month packages up for grabs.
You can pre-order the Google Nexus One now from Vodafone by going to vodafone.co.uk/nexusone.
