People that have spent some time fiddling with the latest iPhone SDK have found references to new gesture commands that could feature in the next iPhone iteration.
New to iPhone SDK 3.2 are references to triple tap and long press gestures. As long as these new references aren’t removed, they’ll be available for iPhone developers to exploit once the next version of the iPhone OS is released. Although not as attention-grabbing as the video calling rumours we flagged-up recently, these new SDK features could prove important for the Apple iPad and iPhone 4G.
App developers can already effectively create their own versions of these gestures within their apps, but these new APIs will offer ready-made versions to speed the process up.iPhone OS getting more gesture-friendly? It seems so.
