The Cookie Fresh, a follow-up to the already pretty fresh Cookie Plus, has been spotted at this year’s CeBit conference. This edition’s made with a litte less dough.
The main reason the original LG Cookie has been so popular over the last couple of years is that it offers a full touchscreen experience for very little money. The LG Cookie Fresh is set to take that appeal even further.
It features a low-end spec – 2-megapixel camera and a QVGA, presumably resistive, touchscreen – but offers a smartphone experience thanks to the S-Class interface used in much more expensive phones like the LG Arena. As yet we don’t have release date or pricing info for the LG Cookie Fresh, but we’d be surprised if this LG phone was all that expensive.
The LG Cookie Fresh also offers and FM radio and 3.5mm headphone jack, so will be able to double as a decent media player if you couple it with a decent microSD card. We’ll let you know once we hear when this budget touchscreen phone is set to leave the bakery.
