Windows Mobile 7 spotted on HTC HD2
Windows Mobile 7 has only just been announced, but it’s already been spotted running on the HTC HD2, released back in 2009 with Windows Mobile 6.5. Is the OS already doing the rounds under the radar?
The HTC HD2 was spotted running an early version of Windows Mobile 7, but the Live Tiles we heard about at the operating system’s launch were in evidence.
Even though it was an early build, winmo.nl claims that Windows Mobile 7 runs very well on the HTC HD2, but then it does have a powerful 1GHz Snapdragon processor under its belt. Last year, the HTC HD2 took top place as the most likely device to snap up Windows Phone 7 Series – picture gallery – boasting fantastic hardware that was only held back by lingering issues with Windows Mobile 6.5 – so predictions have turned out true.
We’ll keep you informed about any breaking news about Windows Mobile 7, whether new devices or golden ‘oldie’ mobile phones like the HTC HD2 that are getting a new lick of Windows Mobile 7 paint.
