The Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Mini, one of the smallest Android phones yet made, is coming to Vodafone. Read on for more details on the teeny Android treat…
Sony Ericsson’s X10 Mini has been spotted at the Vodafone stand by our men on the ground at Mobile World Congress 2010. The peeps on the Vodafone stand confirmed that the tiny Android handset would be coming to the network, although we couldn’t nail them down to a definite date.
The Xperia X10 Mini uses a 2.5-inch screen, much smaller than the display of most Android devices, but the small size has its advantages. You’re getting full smartphone functionality within a package that’s closer to the size of a feature phone.
The X10 Mini packs a 600MHz processor, Wi-Fi, 3G and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It’s powered by Cupcake, an older version of Android, but with the help of a few widgets and apps, you’ll be able to get it up to speed with the best.
We’ll let you know when a concrete Vodafone UK release date is announced.
