LG Arena Max spotted online
We first heard about the LG Arena Max two months ago when an all-new LG device shuffled its way through Wi-Fi certification. Well, that same device has now popped up in the “flesh” in a series of spy shots emerging just a week before Mobile World Congress.
The LG LU9400, to use its official designation by LG, has been spied by Korean site Cetizen, and boasts a pretty tidy specification too, headed up by a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and a 3.5in touchscreen. Cetizen also claims a 5MP camera is tucked away on board, as is Wi-Fi and GPS.
There’s no word on the OS, but if the Arena Max is like the Arena before it, this won’t be another new Android smartphone, but will instead be a “dumb” phone focusing on delivering high-end multimedia performance.
There’s no word on when or even if we’ll be seeing the Arena Max anytime soon here in the UK, but we expect that – and a whole lot more besides – to be cleared up at MWC next week…
