iPad and iPad 3G – full pricing and availability
The Apple iPad event this evening had one final surprise in store for us – the price. The cheapest iPad model will come in at a relatively reasonable $499, just over £300. There are three vanilla WiFi iPad options – 16GB, 32GB and 64GB options, priced at $499, $599 and $699 respectively.
If you want to add a little 3G into the mix, the same capacity devices will set you back $629, $729 and $829.
WiFi flavours of the iPad can be in customers hands in 60 days’ time – and that’s anywhere in the world, while the 3G versions would be ready in 90 days.
UK customers who want to sign up for a 3G deal will have to wait until June for details of rates, but both models can be shipped to the UK upon release.
