Well, today’s the day for the expected Apple Tablet announcement. At 6pm GMT, Apple will finally open its doors and reveal the secret (or not-so-secret) product that everyone’s been waiting for…Yep, today is (hopefully) Apple Tablet Day. Amd whether it’s called the iSlate, the iTablet the iProd (ahem), it seems like the whole of the western world is waiting with bated breath for Apple’s latest announcement.

As is traditional, Apple hasn’t directly divulged any information about the “new creation”, letting the web hype do the work for them.

So, what can we expect? Will the Apple Tablet come packing 3G and be available on contract through telephone networks? Will it come packing iPhone apps, music streaming and eBook capability? Or is it just a big iPhone?

Or is this all a giant red herring and will Apple actually hit us with the iPhone 4G??
