Vodafone breaks 100K iPhone mark
Vodafone has already racked up 100,000 iPhone sales. The number combines pre-order handsets plus sales since it went on sale last Thursday. Read on for more details…
Not content with shifting 50,000 iPhones on launch day alone – Vodafone has kept the momentum up to break into six figures in double-quick time.
“The demand from both consumer and business customers has been phenomenal. They want an outstanding phone on an outstanding network and we’re delivering that,” said Vodafone UK CEO Guy Laurence.
With Vodafone’s iPhone packages very similar to those of rival networks, it’s hoping its network speed, service record and 3G coverage will add up to a more attractive package than its competitors.
Vodafone is the only network to offer a 3G-boosting femtocell device, the Sure Signal which was given a name change and a dramatic price drop to just £50 to ensure Voda’s new legions of iPhone owners can ensure high-speed internet access at all times.

I pre-ordered my 16GB 3GS on Vodafone, i recieved it as promised on launch day and have been absolutely blown away!
The iPhone works fantasticly on the Vodafone network, I have directly compared to the same device on O2 and found Voda to be much quicker, supportive and generally fun.
The iPhone has a reputation for not keeping signal and the Sure Signal ensures that anyone with a broadband line can enjoy a strong data service.
All in all Vodafone deserve the massive sales figures and success it has achieved as the quality of service is genuinely amazing (in my opinion
)
Viva Voda!

Not impressed with signal reception or 3G coverage so far. This is the only phone I have had that does not work in my house. My Vodafone company Blackberry work fine so I’m tending to think te receiver in the iPhone is quite poor.
