Vodafone Sure Signal 3G booster service airs

Written by Linsey on January 18, 2010 – 11:30 am No Comment

SYP_2890Vodafone has just launched its new Sure Signal service to give your 3G coverage at home a serious shot in the arm. Read on for more deets…

As of today, Vodafone Sure Signal will take over service previously known as Access Gateway to ensure your 3G signal is boosted at home. The plug-in box fixes flaky 3G signals around the house by plugging straight into any broadband line and will deliver download speeds of at least 1 MB per second.

Up to 32 people can be registered to use a single Vodafone Sure Signal box and four people can use it at any one time. And you can add or change Sure Signal users with an easy online account.

It’s likely to be more than coincidence that its overhaul is timed so closely with the arrival of the iPhone on Vodafone, with the network aiming to ensure that its legions of new iPhone owners get full-speed web access at all times to play with their shiny new phones.

Sure Signal comes at a £50 one-off cost, or for £5 per month from your nearest Vodafone store. See Sure Signal for more information.
