Vodafone adds Nokia E72 to exclusive roster

Written by Linsey on November 12, 2009 – 7:43 pm One Comment

nokia-n72-01Vodafone has added the Nokia E72 black smartphone to its ever-growing stable of exclusive handsets today. We spotted on Voda’s retail site today that, not content with outing the HTC HD2 exclusively, the network has nabbed the latest addition to Nokia’s E-Series.

The Nokia E72’s businesslike black edition will be exclusive to Vodafone until January 2010, so T-Mobile, O2 and Orange won’t be able to get their mitts on Nokia’s BlackBerry-botherer until then…

The Nokia E72 brings scorching S60 v9.3 smarts to super-slim body that should have chunkier BlackBerrys heading for the gym. Superfast 3G hookup and GPS combined with Nokia Maps are punter-pleasers, but it’s the impressive five megapixel camera with autofocus and flash, plus the 3.5mm jack that prove crucial additions to put this Nokia in the running for the best businessphone crown.

Vodafone is offering the Nokia E72 for £300 on Pay as You Go, or you can cough up nowt if you sign on for a monthly tariff from £30.
