LG GW620 Snapdragon Android sequel on way
The LG GW620 has barely had its video and website leaked, and there’s already news of sequel for the QWERTY Android blower. LG has announced that a much more intriguing follow up is on the way next year, packing a superfast 1GHz Snapdragon processor, just like the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10.
The LG GW620 Mark 2 is due out in Korea next year, and the Snapdragon LG phone will be a much more “mature” device , which is running a fairly bog-standard Android OS.
Extra details are thin on the ground at the moment, but given the 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor lurking inside, we’re expecting it to race through apps and multitasking. It’s the same chip that’s inside the HTC HD2 Windows Mobile smartphone and the Xperia X10, so we’re hoping it’ll be powering a handset with a screen just as big as either rival.
There’s no word on UK availability yet, so in t he meantime, take a gander at our Top 5 Android phones feature.
