Facebook comes to Nokia E Series

Written by Linsey on November 27, 2009 – 9:00 am 2 Comments

e72The Nokia E72 has its very own Facebook app. Until now, Facebook was only available on Nokia handsets running the Symbian S60 5th edition or S40 mobile operating system. But Facebook has now added a new version to its Symbian offering, meaning E72 and E71 users can update their status when they should be doing business-type stuff. Read on for a full feature set…The latest version of Facebook includes most of the same features seen on other platforms, though one or two are missing, including the “Like” option.
The black edition of the Nokia E72 is exclusive to Vodafone until January, and integrated 3G, GPS and Nokia Maps sit alongside less business-focused features like a  five megapixel autofocus camera with flash and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The free E Series-friendly Facebook app is available immediately to download from the Ovi Store.
