Win £5,000 or a SIM free mobile with Touch The Phone

Think it’d be nice to win £5,000 or a SIM free mobile? Of course you do – and thanks to a new online game dubbed Touch The Phone, you can. Keep your hand on the spinning Sony Ericsson Satio or Nokia N97 Mini the longest and you’ll bag yourself either a cash prize or one of eight SIM free mobile phones.

Basically, the idea behind VodafoneUK’s new game is to keep your “hand” (controlled by the mouse pointer) on the spinning mobile phone. So you really just have to “Touch The Phone” – it’s as simple as that.

Touch The Phone has two game types: Endurance, is a “pure test of concentration and stamina” that sees you having to keep your virtual hand on a slowly moving Sony Ericsson Satio for as long as possible. At the time of writing the time to beat is over two hours, so you’re going to be in for a long haul if you want to win £5,000.

The second game type is Skill, which features a Nokia N97 Mini spinning and moving much faster. Things start off easy, but get increasingly tough as the clock ticks on. We managed just over four minutes on our first go – not bad, but we don’t think the SIM free mobile prize will be heading our way any time soon!

Win the Skill game and you can choose any one of eight SIM free mobiles: a BlackBerry Storm 2; HTC Tattoo; LG GM750; Nokia E72; Nokia N97 Mini; Sony Ericsson Satio; Sony Xperia X2; and Vodafone 360 Samsung H1.
