The latest incarnation of the BlackBerry Bold, the 9700, has just been priced up by Vodafone and we have the details right here. And it’s good news: you’ll be able to get your mitts on the email wizard for ‘free’ on contract. The deal is you outlay £35 a month for 24 months and for that you get your very own BlackBerry Bold 9700 mobile phone, 600 minutes talk time, plus unlimited texts, internet access and email. What’s more BlackBerry Service is included in the price so there are no extra hidden costs to worry about.
What’s so good about the BlackBerry Bold 9700? Well apart from a new slimmed-down size and sexy chrome trim to complement the piano black glossy styling, this new BlackBerry is also boasting an improved performance of up to 50 per cent on its predecessor!
What’s more you get the new BlackBerry OS v5.0, a new trackpad to replace the trackball, and all the goodness that comes with a BlackBerry mobile phone (push email, Wi-Fi, 3G, 3.2-megapixel camera).
There’s still no word on when the BlackBerry Bold 9700 goes on sale (next month is what RIM said at the unveiling), but you can expect it to be up for pre-order on Vodafone’s site shortly. Keep posted here and we’ll let you know as soon as it pops up.
